Associated Press reported the Former International Monetary Fund leader Dominique Strauss-Kahn has moved on Wednesday (25 May 2011) from a temporary space in a high-rise to a plush, four-bedroom brick town house in Manhattan where he will remain under house arrest as he awaits trial in his attempted rape case.
The Feng Shui of the house he is staying in downtown Manhattan doesn’t look too good for him, sandwiched between two much taller and larger buildings on either side, being squeezed hard by the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger as we say in Form Feng Shui, and we can He-Xiang 喝象 (“Calling out the Shape”) and venture to say the Azure Dragon represents the male power of American justice and the White Tiger represents the female power of gender politics; therefore, most likely he will have a difficult time while staying there and not likely to win his appeal.
I would not say this is a Feng Shui prediction, but a visual reaction from the form and configuration of the environment that would indicate the tendency and the potential of an out come for the occupant from a Feng Shui perspective. Some may even called this formation a “Chopper from Heaven” representing the adverse world opinions striking at the house (or Heavenly justice – he deserve what he gets). It seems irrational but it expresses quite well our feelings about a situation through correlative thinking, linking up our subjective reactions to an unusual place and event with a particular shape, not unlike calling out a memorable building with a simple nickname like a “gherkin” (London), a “corn” (Bratislava) or a “nest” (Beijing).
Postscript July 02, 2011: Now that Dominique Strauss-Kahn is free from house arrest, I hope he will move out of this house immediately to a place with better Feng Shui.
